PSHCEE - (Personal, social, health, citizenship, and economic well-being education).
At Marston Vale, we believe that learning how to get on with other people are vital skills to acquire for life in school and beyond. Through the PSHCEE curriculum, pupils are encouraged to reflect upon their behaviours, attitudes and beliefs.
Combined with this, pupils are taught a variety of topics, including;
- Year 5: Responding to emergencies, personal hygiene, electoral system and finance.
- Year 6: In the news. finance, growing up and safety.
- Year 7: Coping with feelings, body changes, healthy eating and emotional changes.
- Year 8: Rights, responsibilities and law, society and change and carers.
Wherever possible, we liaise with outside enrich what pupils are studying in class.
